Commodity Manager, Indirect Sourcing

Axon is seeking a results-driven Commodity Manager to lead indirect sourcing strategies and supplier relationships. In this role you will own category strategies for indirect spend, drive cost savings, and collaborate across Finance, Legal, IT, and Facilities to optimize procurement outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for indirect spend
• Lead RFP processes and supplier evaluations
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers
• Manage supplier relationships and performance metrics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement with business goals
• Drive cost savings, demand management, and risk mitigation
• Monitor market trends and supplier risk and ensure policy compliance
• Maintain procurement data analytics and reporting

Qualifications

• 5+ years indirect procurement or strategic sourcing experience
• Proven track record delivering cost savings in indirect categories
• Experience with procurement systems (ERP or e-procurement tools)
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
• Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred
• Knowledge of supplier diversity programs is a plus
