Job Description

AvePoint is seeking a Sensor/IOT Engineer (GovTech) in Singapore to join our team delivering IoT and sensor-based solutions for government technology projects. You will design, build, and deploy sensor networks, edge processing, and secure data pipelines integrated with cloud platforms. You will collaborate with GovTech teams to implement reliable instrumentation, device management, and scalable data analytics.

Responsibilities

Design and implement IoT sensor networks and edge computing solutions
Develop firmware/software for sensors (e.g., Python, C/C++)
Integrate devices with cloud services (Azure/AWS) and data pipelines
Ensure security, reliability, and maintainability of IoT systems
Collaborate with government project teams and stakeholders
Document architectures, test plans, and DevOps workflows
Support deployment and monitoring in government environments

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
Hands-on experience with IoT, sensors, and embedded systems
Knowledge of protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, BLE, Zigbee
Proficiency in Python; C/C++ for firmware
Familiarity with cloud platforms and data analytics
Strong security practices for IoT and data privacy
Ability to work in Singapore or obtain necessary clearances
