Revenue Accountant - Hanoi

AvePoint is seeking a Revenue Accountant to join our finance team in Hanoi. In this role you will manage revenue recognition, billing, revenue forecasting, and related financial controls in a fast-growing cloud data management company. You will collaborate with Sales, Order Management, and Accounts Receivable to ensure accurate revenue reporting, month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations. The successful candidate will support compliance with US GAAP and local Vietnam regulations and contribute to process improvements across APAC finance operations. This is an on-site role based in Hanoi with growth opportunities within AvePoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage revenue recognition in accordance with US GAAP
• Prepare and review monthly revenue close journal entries
• Collaborate with Sales, Order Management, and AR teams to ensure accurate invoicing and revenue reporting
• Control and monitor revenue processes, including reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with local Vietnam regulations and internal control standards

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience in revenue accounting or a similar role
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and revenue recognition principles
• Experience with ERP systems and financial controls
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
