AvePoint is seeking a Revenue Accountant to join our Finance team in Manila, Philippines. This full-time role focuses on revenue recognition, financial reporting, and ensuring GAAP compliance for the APAC region.

Responsibilities

Record and monitor revenue transactions in the general ledger
Ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports
Support month-end close activities and cross-functional reconciliation
Maintain internal controls and assist with SOX compliance
Collaborate with Sales, Order Management, and FP&A to resolve revenue issues
Assist in process improvement and system enhancements related to revenue accounting

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of revenue accounting or finance experience; software/tech industries preferred
Strong knowledge of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606) and GAAP
Proficient in Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a plus
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
