Pre-Sales Solution Engineer

Overview

AvePoint is seeking a results-driven Pre-Sales Solution Engineer to partner with our sales teams in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Based in London, you will lead technical engagements, deliver tailored product demonstrations, and translate customer needs into viable cloud data management solutions. You will collaborate with customers, solution architects, and product teams to articulate value, respond to RFPs, and support deal closures. The role requires strong communication, hands-on technical knowledge of cloud platforms, data governance, backup and data protection concepts, and a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical engagements with customers and prospects in the EMEA region.
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations and workshops tailored to customer needs.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and proposal materials.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Professional Services to scope solutions and build compelling responses to RFPs.
• Develop proofs of value, ROI analyses, and solution briefs to accelerate deal closures.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AvePoint’s product portfolio and competitive landscape.
• Provide feedback from customers to product and marketing teams to influence roadmaps.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical sales.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience with cloud platforms and SaaS ecosystems; familiarity with data governance and data protection concepts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and manage multiple opportunities concurrently.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; knowledge of enterprise collaboration tools is a plus.
