Overview

AvePoint is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher focusing on AI and Machine Learning to contribute to cutting-edge research efforts in support of AvePoint's data management and cloud platforms.

AvePoint helps organizations securely manage and collaborate on data across environments. This research role will engage with cross-disciplinary teams to advance AI/ML capabilities applied to data governance, security, and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct independent research in AI/ML.
• Prototype and evaluate algorithms; reproduce published results; publish findings when appropriate.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to translate research into practical solutions.
• Present research outcomes to internal stakeholders and at conferences.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, AI, ML or a closely related field (or equivalent research experience).
• Strong foundation in machine learning, statistical methods, and programming.
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to work in a collaborative environment.
