Overview

AvePoint is seeking a skilled OpenStack Engineer for its MAS team in Singapore to design, deploy, and operate scalable OpenStack infrastructure that supports our cloud services.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and operate OpenStack-based cloud infrastructure
Automate deployments and day-to-day operations using configuration management and scripting
Monitor performance, capacity, and security; troubleshoot incidents
Collaborate with product, security, and platform teams to maintain reliability and compliance
Follow best practices for reliability, scalability, and cost optimization

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
3+ years of hands-on OpenStack experience
Strong Linux system administration skills
Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash)
Experience with automation/configuration tools (Ansible, Terraform)
Networking and storage knowledge (e.g., Ceph, standard network protocols)

Nice to have

Cloud experience with public clouds; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Container orchestration knowledge (Kubernetes)
