Role Overview

AvePoint is seeking a Customer Data Integration Specialist to design, build, and maintain data integration solutions for our customers. You will work closely with client teams to understand data needs, translate requirements into robust data flows, and ensure reliable data synchronization across systems using AvePoint products and standard integration approaches.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with customers to gather requirements and map data flows between systems.
• Design, implement, and maintain data integration pipelines and connectors between customer environments and AvePoint solutions.
• Develop data mappings, transformations, and ETL processes; work with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Ensure data quality, validation, and timely synchronization across platforms; monitor and troubleshoot integrations.
• Provide technical guidance during deployments; create clear technical documentation and best-practice recommendations.
• Coordinate with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Product teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Contribute to reusable components and standard integration methodologies for future projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in data integration, ETL, or integration engineering.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling, data governance concepts, and data quality practices.
• Hands-on experience with data integration tools and APIs (e.g., REST, JSON, XML); familiarity with ETL platforms and scripting.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills; ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team; willingness to travel if required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AvePoint products or Microsoft 365 data, SharePoint, or data protection solutions is a plus.
