Role Overview

Position: CStack Security Engineer (GovTech). Location: Singapore. This full-time, on-site role is part of AvePoint’s security team supporting GovTech initiatives. You will design and implement security controls for the CStack, perform threat modeling, integrate security into CI/CD pipelines, monitor security events, and collaborate with GovTech partners.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain security controls for the CStack and cloud environments
Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments
Implement secure development practices and CI/CD security checks
Monitor security events, investigate incidents, and coordinate remediation
Collaborate with GovTech stakeholders, product teams, and engineering groups
Develop security tooling and automation to improve secure delivery

Requirements

Experience in security engineering, cloud security, or DevSecOps
Familiarity with security tooling (SAST/DAST, SCA, SIEM) and secure SDLC
Strong knowledge of networking, IAM, and incident response
Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus
Strong communication and collaboration skills
