- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the Waabi Class 8 autonomous test fleet for performance and safety.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with vehicle mechanical, electrical, sensors and other systems.
- Perform repairs and replacements per Waabi work instructions and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Provide technical support to truck operators on vehicle systems and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory requirements for autonomous Class 8 vehicles.
🎯 Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- Proven experience as technician/mechanic in automotive/heavy-duty; ASE certifications desirable.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills; troubleshooting of complex systems.
- Familiarity with truck maintenance and repair.
- Clean driving record.
- Familiarity with electrical schematics and automotive scan tool systems.
