Automation Maintenance Technician

📋 Description

• Start-of-shift walks to spot abnormal noise, vibration, or heat in motors.
• Floor rounds to verify air pressure, belt tension, and photo-eye cleanliness.
• Calibrate SLAP and weighing systems with WES.
• Perform PMs on conveyors, sortation equipment, and high-speed rollers.
• Maintain systems per OEM specs; lubrication and component replacement.
• Log maintenance in CMMS and track MTBF and outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years' exp maintaining packaging/material handling equipment; 2-year technical degree.
• 2+ years with PLCs, VFDs, and vision systems (Cognex preferred).
• Plan, prioritize, and execute work with minimal supervision.
• Ownership and initiative; proactively resolving equipment issues.
• On-site technical resource; guide less experienced teammates.
• Flexible schedule: Mon-Fri 7:00-3:30 (rotating Saturdays) or Tue-Sat.
