Automated Mechanical is seeking a Traveling HVAC Installer to join our team in Ogden, Utah. This role involves traveling to customer sites to install, service, and maintain HVAC systems for commercial and residential settings. You will work with project teams to ensure installations meet code requirements and client specifications. This position requires travel and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

Install, retrofit, and start up HVAC systems and components according to project specs
Perform ductwork layout and basic electrical connections as needed
Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues; conduct preventative maintenance
Ensure compliance with building codes, standards, and safety regulations
Test and calibrate controls and thermostats; verify proper system operation
Document work performed and maintain accurate records

Requirements

2+ years of HVAC installation or service experience
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
EPA refrigerant handling certification (as applicable)
Ability to travel to multiple job sites; flexibility to work on-site as required
Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, bend, crawl, and work in restricted spaces
Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly rate: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour (approx. $41,600 - $83,000 annually, before taxes)
