Automated Mechanical is seeking a skilled HVAC Service Technician to install, service, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for residential and commercial clients in the Ogden, Utah area. This on-site, full-time role offers a competitive hourly rate of $30-$50 per hour (roughly $62,000-$104,000 annually based on a 2080-hour year).

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and boilers
Perform preventative maintenance, filter changes, belt adjustments, and system calibrations
Read schematics/blueprints and install/retrofit equipment per local codes and industry standards
Test system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safe, efficient operation
Document service visits, parts used, and time spent; communicate effectively with customers
Maintain a clean and organized work area and vehicle; comply with safety policies and regulations

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC trade school or certification is a plus
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
EPA Section 608 certification preferred
1-3 years of HVAC experience or equivalent
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset

Compensation & Benefits
