Software Engineer, Drone Applications
Auterion is seeking a Software Engineer, Drone Applications to join our team in Zurich, Switzerland. In this role you will contribute to the software stack that powers autonomous drones, including flight control, perception, and data processing components.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and maintain software for drone applications.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers and data scientists to integrate sensors and actuators.
- Contribute to ROS-based frameworks, SLAM, computer vision modules, and debugging tools.
- Ensure software reliability, performance, and safety in embedded systems.
Qualifications
- Experience in C++ and/or Python; comfortable with embedded Linux.
- Knowledge of ROS/ROS2, computer vision, sensor fusion, or autonomy stacks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team.
