Find Your Connection to Endless Possibilities

Are you a Test Automation Engineer looking for the next step in your career? If the opportunity to work in a global industry leader with a diverse culture excites you, this may be the role for you.

With Audinate, you’ll find your connection to the world of sound and vision.

We lead the world in AV networking media to pioneer the way people see and hear. Our products seamlessly manage hundreds of audio and video channels with one network, making us the industry standard. You’ll find us in the largest companies and institutions like the Sydney Opera House, NFL Media Headquarters, Microsoft, and even a 900-year old cathedral featured in Harry Potter.

Our core values are the foundation of everything we do: Excellence, Courage, Integrity, Innovation, and Teamwork.

If this resonates with you, this is the place for you.

What you’ll experience with us

No matter your role, you’ll feel part of our team and contribute to pioneering the future of AV so that everyone can be seen and heard.

In addition to a competitive salary, annual bonus and equity incentive plan, you’ll be part of our diverse, values-based culture. You’ll also enjoy a range of benefits, such as flexible working (2 days per week in our BGC office), home office support, and health & life insurance coverage.

What you’ll be working on

You will partner with cloud service development teams to help them deliver high-quality software at speed. You'll empower our development teams to own quality by embedding test automation practices and infrastructure into the development lifecycle.

Our stack typically includes React/TypeScript frontends, REST and GraphQL APIs, and cloud-based persistence and service layers. The role includes both functional and performance testing, helping teams build confidence in their services while scaling their ability to test independently.

You will

  • Support development teams in implementing effective automated testing strategies across unit, integration, and system levels
  • Develop, integrate, or onboard test frameworks and tooling for both functional and non-functional testing
  • Set up test automation infrastructure
  • Work closely with developers to bootstrap test coverage for new or complex service areas — sometimes embedding in teams temporarily to help solve difficult testing challenges
  • Promote test automation best practices, including shift-left testing, CI/CD integration, mocking strategies, and data management approaches
  • Collaborate on performance testing strategies focused on latency, throughput, and scalability
  • Contribute to internal documentation, training, and onboarding to uplift test automation capability across teams
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement, using metrics and feedback loops to enhance quality and delivery confidence
  • What we're looking for

  • Bachelor or higher degree in a scientific or engineering discipline
  • Proven experience in test automation within modern development environments (ideally with microservices, APIs, and web frontends).
  • Strong knowledge of testing strategies: unit, integration, contract, end-to-end, and performance testing.
  • Strong programming/scripting skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar.
  • Experience working with: Frontend frameworks like React; API layers such as REST and GraphQL; Cloud-native applications, ideally deployed in AWS; Tools such as Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, k6, Cucumber, JMeter, etc.
  • Experience working in the context of a DevOps culture to support continuous verification using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical skills to debug and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Experience enabling or coaching developers on testing approaches, not just writing tests yourself.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills — you can influence without authority and build trust across teams.
  • Passion for a focused, agile way of working.
  • Additional desirable skills

  • Experience with observability (logs, metrics, traces) and using it to inform testing or reliability improvements.
  • Background in performance testing cloud-based APIs at scale.
  • Experience in detecting security vulnerabilities in UI and API.
  • Additional Information

If you're an experienced QA Automation Engineer or Test Automation Engineer looking for an opportunity to make a difference we may be on the same wavelength.

Apply now and submit your resume and cover letter.
