Attune is making it easier, faster, and more reliable for small businesses to access insurance! They all need insurance to protect their businesses, but when it comes time to get a policy, they’re bogged down by hundreds of questions, lots of paperwork, and a seemingly never-ending timeline stretching for weeks or months.

We are changing all that. By using data and technology expertise to understand risk, automating legacy processes, and creating a better user experience for brokers, we’re able to provide policies that are more applicable and more transparent in just minutes.

Simply put, we’re pushing insurance into the future, focusing on accuracy, speed, and ease.

Our mission and our team are growing. In staying true to our values, we’ve earned our spot on many workplace award lists. Attune is dedicated to creating a diverse team of curious, focused, and motivated people who are excited about changing the future of an entire industry.

About the Role:

As a Business Operations Associate at Attune, you will be a key player in driving strategic initiatives from conception through execution. Like a GM-in-training, you’ll work cross-functionally across go-to-market, product, sales, marketing, tech, and ops to drive results and ensure we are executing our most important projects at the highest level. You’ll also support the leadership team as needed to ensure effective coordination, communication, and preparation of materials. Reporting to the Special Projects Manager and working closely with company leadership, this dynamic and high-impact role will contribute to both strategic direction and day-to-day operations of our company.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with executives to quarterback strategic initiatives, accelerate progress, and incubate new programs
    • Organize, lead, and help execute company projects that fall outside anyone’s scope
    • Obsess over the metrics that matter, own key results, and act as cross-functional glue to keep everyone focused on the right things––and to make sure stuff get done
    • Example projects may range from helping launch a new insurance product to testing a new distribution channel
  • Use Looker and Excel to dig into data and uncover insights that shape our strategy. Design reports or dashboards to track key operational metrics
  • Create useful, and streamlined financial models and slide decks to facilitate strategic decisions and effectively communicate them to high-profile stakeholders
  • Support the leadership team as needed, including involvement in managing OKRs and preparing Board and management team materials
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders to drive project results and meet key performance indicators
  • Take on additional projects and tasks as needed to support the evolving needs of the business

Who you are

  • 2+ years of professional experience, ideally in consulting, private equity, investment banking, or a high-growth startup.
  • Practical business sense and a strategic mindset that can make sense of ambiguity, construct digestible solutions, and manage execution
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with a bias towards data. Experience with Looker, SQL or R/python is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to both share information with and seek input from a wide range of stakeholders. You have a perspective, but build consensus by investing in relationships and being a trusted partner.
  • You consider yourself a jack-of-all-trades who is resourceful and always willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done.
  • More important than your prior experience, you’re a fast learner, with a genuine curiosity in the subject matter.
  • You excel in environments with ambiguous, challenging problems, and can quickly adapt to new information and situations.

What we offer you:

  • Flexible PTO
  • Generous parental and caregiver leave
  • 401K match
  • Excellent medical, dental, and vision plans
  • Remote-first culture
  • And more!

The anticipated base salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $140,000 per year, depending upon the individual's unique qualifications and experience. Additionally, this role offers the potential for a 10% annual bonus.
