About the Role

As a Senior Mobile Engineer, Quality at Attentive, you’ll own the testing strategy for our SDKs on iOS and Android, while also contributing to feature development and shaping how we deliver stable, performant, and reliable functionalities to millions of users. You’ll work directly with other mobile engineers and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to create a seamless and robust mobile experience.

What You’ll Accomplish

• Own the quality strategy for our mobile SDKs, including test architecture, tooling, test coverage, and release readiness
• Design and implement end-to-end test strategies, including regression plans, edge case tracking, and UI automation using Android and/or iOS frameworks like Espresso or XCUI Test
• Identify critical areas in the SDK and proactively build test coverage and fallback handling
• Set up and maintain mobile test infrastructure, including device and OS coverage matrices and orchestration, using cloud mobile device farm tools
• Design, build, and ship mobile SDK features in Swift and/or Kotlin, contributing to both product innovation and technical excellence
• Establish and uphold mobile QA best practices to support high-impact launches, including release validation, test case coverage tracking, and regression test maintenance

Your Expertise

• 3+ years of experience in mobile testing automation, QA strategy, and release engineering.5+ years of experience in mobile app development (iOS and/or Android), with proven experience launching and maintaining production apps or SDKs
• Extensive experience writing resilient, maintainable, and fast UI tests using frameworks like Espresso and/or SCUI Test
• Proven track record of developing, releasing, and maintaining high-quality mobile features
• Extensive experience setting up and maintaining cloud-based mobile device farms to ensure OS and device coverage. Comfortable integrating test infrastructure into CI/CD pipelines for automated regression testing, parallel execution, and fast loops
• Strong proficiency in Swift and/or Kotlin
• Strong attention to detail in app behavior across devices, OS versions, and real-world integration scenarios

Salary & Benefits

For US based applicants: The standard base salary range for this position is $160,000 - $210,000 annually + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
