Job Purpose

We are seeking a Salesforce Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems that power our Salesforce-based digital solutions. In this role, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate Salesforce with external systems, optimize performance, and ensure high-quality data flow across the enterprise. This is an opportunity to contribute to transformative projects within the Salesforce ecosystem, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to deliver impactful client outcomes.

In this role you will get to:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust backend services and APIs supporting Salesforce integrations (e.g., MuleSoft, Apex REST APIs, or external middleware).
• Develop scalable solutions that extend Salesforce functionality while maintaining platform integrity and security.
• Collaborate with front-end, Salesforce, and DevOps teams to deliver high-performing, integrated digital experiences.
• Optimize system performance, data flow, and process automation within multi-cloud Salesforce environments.
• Implement security, data governance, and compliance best practices across backend components.
• Participate in architectural design reviews, technical planning, and solution documentation.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor, debug, and troubleshoot production issues as needed.
• Stay current on Salesforce platform enhancements, backend frameworks, and emerging technologies.

Your skills and qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience, with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce platform integrations.
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Apex, Node.js, Java, or Python.
• Experience building RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, and event-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, SOQL, and Salesforce integration patterns (e.g., Platform Events, Middleware, or External Services).
• Experience with MuleSoft, Salesforce APIs, or other integration tools preferred.
• Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Integration Architect) are a plus.
