Associate Underwriter

📋 Description

• Assist evaluating and pricing SMB health plans.
• Collaborate with underwriters, sales, and accounts to quote.
• Learn underwriting tools, guidelines, and rating methodologies.
• Manage a caseload with focus on turnaround time, productivity, accuracy.
• Work with internal and external teams (actuarial, brokers, etc.).
• Launch a career in health insurance underwriting.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Insurance or related.
• 0–2 years underwriting experience, health insurance preferred.
• Exposure to level-funded or self-funded insurance products.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
