Associate Litigation Counsel

📋 Description

• Manage all phases of litigation, arbitration, and pre-litigation disputes across the U.S. and Canada.
• Oversee intellectual property matters, including trademark and copyright enforcement, domain name disputes.
• Partner with business teams to proactively identify legal risks and develop practical, business-focused solutions.
• Select, manage, and supervise outside counsel to ensure high-quality representation and cost-effective legal spend.
• Lead internal investigations, subpoena responses, and e-discovery processes in collaboration with IT and product teams.
• Monitor and advise on evolving legal and regulatory developments impacting the business.

• Strong knowledge of complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution practices.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including translating complex legal concepts for non-legal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Technical curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies, systems, and internal processes.
• Familiarity with legal technology and e-discovery platforms.
