Associate License Apparel Designer

📋 Description

• Design sketches and tech packs; create spec and line sheets.
• Develop apparel for Men’s, Juniors, Plus, and Children’s; denim a plus.
• Present trend boards; align with cross-functional teams.
• Research market trends in fabrics, trims, fit, and hardware.
• Collaborate with buying, PD, art, and tech design to ensure quality.
• Support product through development; review designs, lab dips, fittings.
• Contribute to licensing lines; suggest seasonal themes and concepts.

🎯 Requirements

• College degree in design or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of design experience; licensing, fashion, junior/men's wholesale a plus.
• Technical knowledge of fabrics, finishes, sewing, graphics, trim.
• Must be knowledgeable in pop culture and licensing.
• Excellent CAD sketching; 3D fashion rendering a plus.
• Must have tech packing skills.
• Team player, able to adapt to fast-paced environment.
• Strong organization and communication; Mac, Photoshop, Illustrator, Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Understanding of fan-based consumer market.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with cross-functional teams.
