Associate Laboratory Director

📋 Description

• Review and sign-out NIPT, carrier, PGD/PGS, and oncology reports.
• Interpret NGS and CNV data with literature and databases.
• Provide clinical/technical support to genetic counselors and staff.
• Set and maintain standards for testing and analytic performance.
• Analyze lab data and contribute to publications.
• May serve as Technical Supervisor for method selection and PT.

🎯 Requirements

• MD/DO or PhD in genetics or related field required.
• CA license/eligibility as Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist or Cytogeneticist required.
• ABMGG/ABP board-certified or eligible; HCLD considered.
• NYS CLEP Certificate of Qualification preferred.
• 2+ years in CLIA-certified lab; analyzing/reporting genomic data; CAP/CLIA knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills and leadership in a prenatal/genetic lab.
