Associate Hardware Quality Engineer

📋 Description

• Perform and lead triage and failure analysis of customer returned hardware devices.
• Manage root cause analysis across internal and external teams.
• Utilize electronics/PCBA knowledge to identify risks and failures in design/manufacturing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements and validate changes.
• Interface with Logistics and Supplier Quality to contain and correct non-conforming materials.
• Participate in regulatory processes at Toast.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechatronics; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience.
• Hardware root cause analysis and design improvements experience.
• Experience with PCB assembly, high-volume manufacturing, QMS.
• Experience with basic hand tools and digital multimeter.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
