Associate General Counsel, Regulatory

📋 Description

• Advise on regulatory matters: energy, trade, and AI.
• Interpret and apply U.S. and international laws (export controls).
• Partner with GTM, Security, IT, EHS, and ops to assess risk.
• Embed regulatory guidance into product and infra decisions.
• Lead responses to regulatory inquiries and audits.
• Develop internal policies and training for compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of legal experience (in-house and/or law firm).
• Experience advising on energy regulation, trade, and AI frameworks.
• Experience interpreting U.S. and international regulatory regimes (OFAC/BIS).
• Experience drafting policies, procedures, and training for compliance.
• Experience leading regulatory inquiries, audits, or investigations.
• J.D. from an accredited law school; active bar membership in at least one state.
