📋 Description

• Strategic product counsel on regulatory, privacy, data security, and compliance.
• Embed with product teams to translate law into practical requirements.
• Support sponsor bank structuring and partner relations.
• Monitor regulatory developments affecting consumer finance.
• Negotiate SaaS, vendor, and partnership contracts.
• Build scalable legal processes, tools, and culture.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. and active U.S. bar (prefer NY/CA).
• 7–10 years in fintech/financial services or tech.
• Experience with fintech compliance incl. TILA/Reg Z, ECOA/Reg B, UDAAP, FCRA.
• Familiarity with sponsor bank model and related rules.
• Privacy and data security knowledge for consumer financial products.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Independent, proactive problem-solver in fast-paced env.
• Team-oriented, entrepreneurial; able to handle diverse projects.
