Associate General Counsel, Privacy & Product

📋 Description

• Lead global privacy and product legal strategy.
• Build and manage privacy/product counsel team.
• Partner with Product & Engineering on privacy-by-design.
• Advise on AI features, governance, and data usage.
• Lead PIAs/DPIAs and data subject request processes.
• Draft DPAs and privacy terms; monitor evolving privacy/AI regs.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school; active U.S. state bar membership.
• 10+ years legal experience; at least 3 in-house at tech company.
• Experience building and scaling legal teams.
• Deep expertise in global privacy law: GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, related frameworks.
• Hands-on privacy compliance program leadership in tech.
• Significant privacy/product counseling in tech.
