- Lead all legal matters for OKX in Central & South America, licensing included.
- Conduct legal research on crypto/digital asset laws; advise on licensing and compliance.
- Advise on legal/regulatory aspects of US strategic initiatives.
- Draft and revise licensing materials and regulator reports with Compliance.
- Communicate with federal/state regulators and other government bodies on licensing.
- Collaborate with Product and Business teams to achieve company-wide projects.
🎯 Requirements
- Active license to practice law in Central or South America (pref Mexico).
- 10+ years regulatory licensing experience at top firms/regulators/in-house (financial services preferred).
- Experience with regulatory reporting obligations (call reports, renewals, exams).
- Experience advising on cross‑jurisdictional matters with international regulators (incl. El Salvador).
- Experience managing legal and cross-functional teams and driving expedited projects.
- Highly-driven, proactive, responsive, and precise; able to advise and build trust with business teams.
