Associate General Counsel, Commercial

📋 Description

• Own the legal strategy for Flex's GTM initiatives and partnerships.
• Lead AI-powered contracting; design and govern AI workflows.
• Represent Legal in cross-functional AI groups with IT, Security, Compliance.
• Partner with Revenue, Finance, and Product to provide strategic legal counsel.
• Define and own the commercial contracting playbooks and standards.
• Hybrid work with 3 onsite days/week at NYC or SF; relocation option.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in top-tier law firms and in-house, focused on commercial transactions.
• Led complex financial institution partnerships, program, or bank agreements.
• Experience structuring and negotiating channel, distribution, or embedded partnerships.
• Hands-on with AI-powered legal tools; designed or deployed AI workflows.
• Experience with AI governance: defining use standards and cross-functional policy.
• JD from an accredited law school; active US state bar membership.
