Associate General Counsel

📋 Description

• Serve as primary counsel to asset mgmt and operations; support FERC/NERC compliance.
• Manage disputes, insurance, warranty claims, and contract amendments.
• Monitor post-closing obligations under project financing docs and compliance.
• Support capital markets and treasury on post-closing draws and tax equity fundings.
• Manage portfolio and corporate financing transactions; coordinate with tax/accounting/treasury.
• Oversee entity management and governance documents.
• Improve legal ops: matter management, contract mgmt, and policies.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience supporting operating energy assets; knowledge of project contracts/regulations.
• Experience with project and/or corporate finance; power generation structures.
• Experience building/managing legal ops, compliance programs, or dept infra.
• Interest in a small legal team with internal and external stakeholders.
