Associate General Counsel

📋 Description

• Corporate Governance/SEC: oversee SEC filings, disclosures, governance.
• Healthcare Regulatory: counsel on FDA, OIG, CMS, HIPAA and privacy.
• Employment: advise on employment law and policies; draft agreements.
• Operations: implement cost-saving processes and legal automation.
• Management: mentor cross-functional teams and drive collaboration.

🎯 Requirements

• JD from an accredited U.S. law school; active state bar in good standing (CA preferred).
• 15+ years in legal/compliance for life sciences; in-house or firm.
• Strong knowledge of SEC, FDA, OIG, data privacy and medtech law.
• Clinical development and transactional experience preferred.
• Start-up company experience preferred.
