Associate Editor, Content and Partnerships

📋 Description

• Contribute daily to the editorial calendar and stories
• Write, edit, and assign content across Surface platforms
• Pen original stories across Surface’s design, architecture, travel, culture
• Own the Design Dispatch daily newsletter production
• Build newsletters in CMS and schedule in Mailchimp
• Manage partner content and client relations with Surface voice

🎯 Requirements

• 4-6 years of editorial experience
• Strong editorial judgment and writing/editing skills
• Ability to meet daily and long-lead deadlines
• Experience balancing editorial integrity with commercial considerations
• Experience with clients, advertisers, or brand partners
• Highly organized, proactive communicator; collaborative
