📋 Description

  • Serve as a U.S. GAAP expert, drafting memos and position papers for complex transactions.
  • Evaluate and implement new accounting standards; assess impacts on financials and controls.
  • Lead accounting due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
  • Advise on revenue recognition, stock-based compensation, leases, and business combinations.
  • Support quarterly and annual close by reviewing journal entries and disclosures.
  • Partner with external auditors to support audits and respond to technical inquiries.

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s preferred).
  • CPA required.
  • 8–10+ years of progressive accounting experience (Big 4 or national firm strongly preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with M&A accounting and purchase accounting.
  • Proven ability to write clear, well-supported technical memos.
