Associate Director, Risk Management

📋 Description

• Own Flex's third-party risk posture end-to-end.
• Set the risk posture and operating model for vendor risk.
• Lead a small team and design AI-enabled workflows.
• Balance speed and risk in vendor decisions to execs.
• Build real-time monitoring signals for vendor risk.
• Own AI workflows for high-volume risk tasks with auditability.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in third-party/vendor risk or related risk/compliance.
• Experience at a large regulated institution and a fast-growth fintech.
• Proven risk-based decisions under ambiguity with speed-vs-risk tradeoffs.
• Experience designing AI-enabled risk workflows with human oversight.
• Strong knowledge of security, privacy, operational, financial, and regulatory vendor risk.
• Ability to influence Product, Engineering, and Finance beyond risk.
• Strong communication; translate risk positions for exec/board audiences.
• SQL experience or ability to query and analyze data.
