Associate Director, Obligations Management

📋 Description

• Own the central governance infra for regulatory requirements across Airwallex.
• Lead architecture and upkeep of the global obligations register.
• Map regulatory mandates to internal compliance controls.
• Oversee the RFI knowledge base and the global audit register.
• Ensure traceability of control performance and issue lifecycles.
• Partner with regional regulatory legal, compliance, audit, and risk teams.

🎯 Requirements

• 10–12+ years in governance, regulatory compliance, internal audit, or risk in regulated finance.
• 3–5+ years managing a multi-jurisdiction compliance inventory or GRC program.
• Proven experience mapping controls to international laws; supervising audit registers and RFI.
• High ownership, systematic problem-solving, and strong drafting skills.
• Preferred: Bachelor's; JD/LLM or Master in regulatory fields.
• Professional designations (CAMS, CIA) and experience deploying GRC software.
