Associate Director, in vitro Pharmacology

📋 Description

• Lead liver biology target validation (strategy, execution, interpretation).
• Lead in vitro pharmacology strategy; collaborate with in vivo pharmacology.
• Collaborate with Target Identification on in vitro models/assays for targets.
• Present data-driven go/no-go decisions on targets.
• Demonstrate leadership, accountability, and mentoring.
• Analyze and present data; publish in peer-reviewed journals when appropriate.

🎯 Requirements

• PhD in biological sciences; 6+ years in vitro pharmacology for genetic medicines.
• 3+ years leading teams to meet program goals.
• Hands-on experience with in vitro liver disease models and assays (steatosis, fibrosis).
• Hands-on experience with gene editing or oligonucleotide therapeutics.
• Independent, cross-functional work in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to communicate complex data to diverse stakeholders.
• Attention to detail, integrity, creativity, and collaborative mindset.
