Associate Director - Financial Due Diligence - Private Equity Advisory

📋 Description

• Provide strategic oversight of financial due diligence engagements; challenge assumptions and risks.
• Own the diligence narrative and messaging; tailor to buyer or seller context.
• Lead engagements with clients and deal teams; executive readouts with CFOs and PE sponsors.
• Ensure final deliverables are concise, commercially focused; craft exec summaries.
• Lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence (QoE, NWC, Net Debt, cash-flow metrics).
• Oversee multiple engagements; manage priorities, quality, and junior staff.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of audit and/or financial due diligence experience.
• 4+ years current FDD experience with buy-side and sell-side engagements.
• Proven QoE experience; strong GAAP knowledge; Adjusted EBITDA, NWC, Net Debt.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; financial modeling and client-ready presentations.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; CPA/CFA or advanced degree preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership; ability to mentor junior staff.
