Associate Counsel - Vendor Contract (Technology)

📋 Description

• Review, redline, and negotiate vendor contracts (buy-side contracts)
• Respond to contract review requests; consult with internal partners to define requirements and advise
• Respond to inquiries regarding internal procurement processes and contract interpretation
• Document buy-side contract metadata to enable contract management
• Use electronic signing platform to send contracts for signature
• Work with legal team and internal clients to define requirements and develop playbooks/templates

🎯 Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited law school; member in good standing of the state bar
• Experience in-house at a tech company, law firm, life sciences, or similar fast-paced environment
• 2+ years transactional experience reviewing, redlining, and negotiating agreements
• Technology agreements, privacy law and GDPR, leases and construction agreements
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
• Strong drafting skills; concise, clear documents for non-lawyers; attention to detail
