Associate AI/ML Engineer

📋 Description

• Develop ML models in a larger data pipeline delivering value to end customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional data team: DevSecOps, Data Engineers, Data Scientists.
• On-site at JBLM in Tacoma; 3-5 days per week; up to 30% travel.
• Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance with potential for SCI.
• U.S. citizenship required; work within the continental U.S.
• Raft focuses on distributed data systems and cloud-native platforms.

🎯 Requirements

• 1+ year hands-on ML/engineering experience or PhD in a related field.
• Practical experience in ML models and software engineering.
• Experience building ML platforms and pipelines.
• Experience with data processing frameworks; Apache Spark preferred.
• Python programming and scripting; strong dev practices (Git, Agile).
• Willing to obtain Security+ within 90 days; able to work independently or in a team.
