  • Evaluate and develop claims for injured clients; factual and legal analysis
  • Review and synthesize medical records, case files, and investigatory materials
  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda
  • Manage written discovery and large-scale document review
  • Take and defend depositions of plaintiffs, fact witnesses, and expert witnesses
  • Communicate with clients regarding case status and next steps
  • Collaborate with co-counsel and national litigation teams in MDL and coordinated proceedings
  • Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit development, witness outlines, and case strategy
  • Attend hearings, court appearances, and trials as needed

๐ŸŽฏ Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active U.S. bar license in good standing (Illinois, D.C., or Florida preferred)
  • 3โ€“5 years of experience in complex litigation
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Preferred: mass torts or MDL; familiarity with MDL/class actions
