- Evaluate and develop claims for injured clients; factual and legal analysis
- Review and synthesize medical records, case files, and investigatory materials
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda
- Manage written discovery and large-scale document review
- Take and defend depositions of plaintiffs, fact witnesses, and expert witnesses
- Communicate with clients regarding case status and next steps
- Collaborate with co-counsel and national litigation teams in MDL and coordinated proceedings
- Assist with trial preparation, including exhibit development, witness outlines, and case strategy
- Attend hearings, court appearances, and trials as needed
๐ฏ Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active U.S. bar license in good standing (Illinois, D.C., or Florida preferred)
- 3โ5 years of experience in complex litigation
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred: mass torts or MDL; familiarity with MDL/class actions
