Assistant Store Manager

📋 Description

• Execute core bakery operations: inventory rotation, scheduling, staffing, and admin checklists
• Maintain strict adherence to product quality, cleanliness, food safety, and guest experience
• Support ordering, inventory accuracy, and shrink control
• Assist in schedule creation and labor execution to meet targets
• Talent & Team Development: recruit, interview, onboarding, and training
• Deliver coaching and real-time performance feedback
• Hold team members accountable to standards and foster a growth mindset
• Ensure onboarding and training programs meet company standards
• Leadership & Ownership: manage bakery ops in the absence of the BOM
• Model urgency, accountability, and operational discipline
• Partner with BOM to identify operational gaps and implement solutions
• Maintain continuity of operations during transitions or staffing shortages
• Other duties as assigned
• What success looks like: Independently execute BOM-level admin and ops tasks
• Bakery fully staffed, trained, and operating at high standards
• Strong culture of accountability and consistency
• Acts as a reliable operational leader during coverage scenarios
• Demonstrates readiness and upward mobility toward a BOM role

🎯 Requirements

• 1+ year leadership in restaurant, retail, or hospitality operations
• Strong operational discipline and attention to detail
• Ability to coach and develop hourly team members
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume environments
• Ability to perform all bakery roles during peak business periods
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
