Assistant General Counsel, Infrastructure & Compute

📋 Description

• Own and lead negotiations for GPU compute, cloud capacity, and infra-services agreements across multi-provider stack; ensure SLAs and flexibility.
• Lead colocation, power, datacenter, and network contracting to keep production online.
• Map vendor concentration risk and long-lead dependencies; coordinate with Finance and Security on terms.
• Manage strategic infrastructure and hardware relationships where a counterparty plays multiple roles.
• Apply export controls and end-use terms in compute/hardware agreements under AI governance.
• Build template libraries, SLA playbooks, and intake workflows to scale standard transactions.

🎯 Requirements

• JD and active bar membership in good standing.
• 8+ years in technology-transactions with compute, cloud, datacenter, or infra contracts.
• Fluency in availability/SLA constructs, capacity/diversity, and compute/colo/power terms.
• Experience with high-volume, template-driven vendor contracting—fast, but risk-aware.
• Strong judgment on vendor terms and when to involve outside counsel.
• Commercially grounded communicator who partners with Eng, Infra, and Finance.
