Assistant General Counsel, Bankruptcy

📋 Description

• Handle complex litigation, bankruptcy/creditor’s rights, and enforcement matters.
• Supervise outside counsel and provide updates to senior management.
• Collaborate with outside counsel to manage a large portfolio of cases.
• Provide expert advice to internal teams on litigation and bankruptcy matters.
• Lead and participate in negotiations, mediations, and settlements.
• Develop strategies to minimize risk and costs in litigation.

🎯 Requirements

• JD with excellent academic credentials.
• Active NY State Bar in good standing, or admission on hire.
• Minimum five years’ experience in complex litigation and bankruptcy.
• Strong analytical, oral, and written skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to a growing company.
• Independent self-starter, able to multitask.
