Assistant Controller (Fintech)

📋 Description

• Oversee end-to-end accounting for multiple Fintech clients.
• Deliver high-quality financial statements, analyses, and forecasts.
• Build and scale accounting operations with clients and internal teams.
• Manage month-end close, AR/AP, payroll, and tax compliance.
• Define and implement ASC 606 revenue recognition policies.
• Lead and mentor accounting teams across client engagements.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years accounting experience, including 1+ year at Assistant Controller.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred.
• Deep expertise in Seed-, Series A-, and Series B Fintech companies.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, Bill.com, Gusto, Expensify, Carta.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong analytical skills.
