📋 Description

  • Lead setup, tuning, maintenance, and repair of instruments and playback systems.
  • Operate the sound console for performances and rehearsals.
  • Monitor and maintain in-ear mixes and playback systems for performer comfort and safety.
  • Prepare and tune instruments before each show; ensure proper function and placement.
  • Execute show cues and system checks to verify readiness before performances.
  • Maintain system documentation, cue sheets, and patch lists; troubleshoot issues quickly.

🎯 Requirements

  • 2–3 years in live sound or instrument tech for theatre or touring.
  • Working knowledge of digital mixing consoles, playback, mics, and in-ear monitoring.
  • Instrument maintenance and tuning (percussion, strings, electronic).
  • Experience with audio networking, RF coordination, and power distribution preferred.
  • Touring experience preferred; strong troubleshooting in fast-paced environments.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and travel domestically.
