AssemblyAI is seeking a remote API Support Engineer for candidates in the EU or India. This role focuses on helping developers integrate and troubleshoot AssemblyAI's API, ensuring a smooth and scalable experience for customers worldwide.

Role overview

The API Support Engineer will assist customers with API integrations, diagnose issues, provide best-practice guidance, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to improve the API experience.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries related to the AssemblyAI API
• Diagnose, reproduce, and triage API issues
• Provide clear remediation steps and guidance on best practices
• Collaborate with engineering to improve docs, samples, and tooling
• Contribute to the customer knowledge base and playbooks

Qualifications

• Experience in API support or developer relations is a plus
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and HTTP
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Ability to debug API integrations and reproduce issues
• Comfortable working in a remote, globally distributed team; EU or India-based candidates preferred
