Aspire is seeking a Director, Product Counsel to lead the product legal strategy and governance. Based in Singapore, this role collaborates with the product, engineering, privacy, and business teams to ensure our products comply with applicable laws and protect user privacy and data.

Overview

Lead strategic legal guidance for product development, features, and monetization. Manage product-related risks, advise on privacy and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions, and help shape Aspire's product roadmap from a legal perspective.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal counsel on product development, features, and monetization.

• Review, draft, and negotiate product terms, licenses, and policies.
\n
• Advise on privacy, data protection, security, and regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess legal risk and regulatory impact.
\n
• Manage external counsel and help develop internal policies and training.
\n

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor or equivalent; bar admission in relevant jurisdiction.
\n
• Several years of experience in technology or product-focused legal roles.
\n
• Strong knowledge of privacy laws and data protection frameworks.
\n
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and collaboration skills.
