ASG Operating Company Controller

📋 Description

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close end-to-end; target sub-5 day cycle.
• Prepare and deliver board and investor reporting packages.
• Build/maintain SaaS metrics: ARR, NRR, churn, CAC, LTV, Rule of 40.
• Apply and enforce US GAAP across ASC 606, ASC 842, and ASC 830.
• Manage multi-entity consolidations and intercompany eliminations.
• Audit liaison; controls and SOX readiness; AI tools for productivity.

🎯 Requirements

• CPA required; strong technical accounting background; Big 4 preferred.
• Deep US GAAP knowledge including ASC 606, 842, 830, and consolidations.
• Proven track record owning/improving close in PE-backed environment.
• Experience building SaaS metrics: ARR, NRR, churn, CAC, LTV, Rule of 40.
• Multi-entity/international accounting; Canada GST/HST; Europe/APAC/LATAM exposure.
• Multi-state SALT compliance with Anrok, Avalara, or TaxJar.
