Staff Engineer - DevOps and Dev Enablement

Role

As a Staff Engineer - DevOps and Dev Enablement at Array, you will lead platform engineering initiatives to empower product teams with scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure. You will drive DevOps practices, build enablement tooling, and contribute to architectural decisions across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement DevOps pipelines and platform tooling to enable rapid and reliable product development.
• Architect scalable infrastructure with a focus on reliability, security, and cost optimization.
• Mentor and coach engineers across squads, promoting best practices and a culture of enablement.
• Create and maintain internal developer tools and self-service capabilities for developers.
• Collaborate with security, reliability, and product teams on incident response, observability, and performance improvements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or equivalent roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS and/or GCP.
• Proficiency in CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automation scripting (Python, Bash, Go).
• Deep understanding of monitoring/observability (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) and incident response.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed systems at scale and developer enablement tooling.
• Cloud cost optimization experience and security-focused mindset.
