Sales Engineer at Array
Array is seeking a technical and customer-focused Sales Engineer to join our remote team in North America. In this pre-sales role, you will bridge the gap between customers and Array's engineering team, delivering compelling product demonstrations and crafting technical solutions that address real business needs.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the sales team to understand customer requirements and map them to Array’s product capabilities.
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations and proof-of-concept deployments to potential customers.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for executives and technical stakeholders.
- Respond to RFPs, respond to technical questions, and develop win-ready proposals.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to convey customer feedback and inform roadmap decisions.
- Provide technical guidance during the deployment and integration phases with customers and partners.
- Create and maintain technical collateral, best practices, and competitive intelligence.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in sales engineering, pre-sales, or a similar technical role.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to speak to both business and technical audiences.
- Experience with cloud-based SaaS products, APIs, and integrations.
- Solid understanding of software architectures, data workflows, and modern IT environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Ability to thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment and travel as needed.
