Sales Engineer at Array

Array is seeking a technical and customer-focused Sales Engineer to join our remote team in North America. In this pre-sales role, you will bridge the gap between customers and Array's engineering team, delivering compelling product demonstrations and crafting technical solutions that address real business needs.

Responsibilities

Partner with the sales team to understand customer requirements and map them to Array’s product capabilities.
Deliver engaging product demonstrations and proof-of-concept deployments to potential customers.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for executives and technical stakeholders.
Respond to RFPs, respond to technical questions, and develop win-ready proposals.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering to convey customer feedback and inform roadmap decisions.
Provide technical guidance during the deployment and integration phases with customers and partners.
Create and maintain technical collateral, best practices, and competitive intelligence.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in sales engineering, pre-sales, or a similar technical role.
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to speak to both business and technical audiences.
Experience with cloud-based SaaS products, APIs, and integrations.
Solid understanding of software architectures, data workflows, and modern IT environments.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Ability to thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment and travel as needed.
