Overview
Director of Health Economics Outcomes Research (HEOR) at Arine. This role leads Arine’s HEOR strategy and execution to demonstrate the value of our health data solutions. You will design and oversee economic analyses, including cost‑effectiveness and budget impact models, and manage real‑world evidence studies using diverse data sources. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to inform product, clinical, regulatory, market access, and commercial strategies, and you will publish and present findings to internal and external stakeholders. You will also build and mentor a high‑performing HEOR team, ensuring adherence to best practices in study design, data governance, and research ethics.
Responsibilities
- Develop HEOR strategy and study design to generate robust real‑world evidence supporting Arine’s solutions.
- Lead economic evaluations (cost‑effectiveness, budget impact) and other HEOR analyses using real‑world data (claims, EHRs, registries).
- Design and execute observational studies; manage data partnerships and data quality controls.
- Collaborate with Clinical, Regulatory, Market Access, and Commercial teams to shape value communications and payer strategies.
- Publish findings in scientific journals and present at conferences; contribute to manuscripts and abstracts.
- Build, mentor, and manage a high‑performing HEOR team; drive professional development.
- Ensure compliance with applicable guidelines, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Represent Arine in external forums, payer discussions, and industry events.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (PhD/MD/MPH/MSc) in health economics, epidemiology, biostatistics, pharmacoeconomics, or related field.
- 7+ years of HEOR or closely related experience with a track record of outputs (publications, policy impact, payer recommendations).
- Strong expertise in economic modeling (cost‑effectiveness, budget impact) and real‑world evidence methods.
- Proficiency with statistical software (R, SAS, Python, or STATA) and experience with claims, EHR, or registry data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex analyses to diverse stakeholders.
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
